Facebook-owned messaging platform WhatsApp has launched a new ‘carts’ feature at making the shopping experience more lenient for customers by purchasing multiple items from a business account.
WhatsApp users now can view the option to add items to the cart and send the order request as a message to the business.
This feature went live on December 8 global.
WhatsApp announced that the catalogs feature will allow users to check what’s available and helped businesses organize their chats around particular items.
Whatsapp Business users can now browse catalogs and products at their Business accounts and then use the ‘Add to Cart’ button to place an order with the business while starting a discussion with them regarding the product you are seeing, all under a single roof.
